Advancing Remote Operation of Automated Vehicles
The REDO2 project concluded with a well-attended final event in Gothenburg, where partners presented key results and future directions in remote operation for automated vehicles. The event brought together industry leaders, researchers, and public stakeholders to review insights, demonstrations, and the project’s impact.
InnoBrain contributed with the presentation “Deep into the Operator’s Mind: Real-Time Brain-Based Human Cognitive Monitoring in Remote Settings,” showcasing how cognitive analytics can enhance operator performance, situational awareness, and safety in remote-driving environments.

We also participated in the REDO2 exhibition, where we demonstrated our Human Cognitive Monitoring Platform and its real-time capabilities for simulator and remote-operation settings.

We extend our appreciation to our partners for this productive collaboration: Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI), Scania Group, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Ictech, Einride, CDE, and FleetMQ.
With REDO2 now completed, the outcomes lay a strong foundation for continued research, future pilots, and the next generation of human-centric remote-operation systems.
